Garden contrasts

Autumn colours

This week we’ve been enjoying the autumn colours in the trees, especially the horse chestnut across the road which is aflame with colour.  In contrast to the organges and yellows in the trees, as I was walking round the garden this morning I noticed one of the dusky orange roses still throwing out a few flowers, the purple clematis in full bloom, and the honeysuckle still showing off a few deep pink flowers.  The variety and diversity in nature never ceases to amaze – with each plant following it’s own pattern regardless of those round about.  Everything in it’s time and place, and each one having it’s own moment of glory!
