Ladybirds, bees and butterflies

This little fellow was enjoying the sunshine on one of the many conifers in the garden.  I had no sooner stopped to take his picture, than a bee went flying past, then a butterfly landed a few feet away.

It’s great to be seeing the signs of the end of winter and spring making its debut in blue skies.  What also struck me was the purpose with which these little creatures seemed to be going about their business.  With a lifespan much shorter than ours, they maybe have a far healthier perspective on life and leisure.

So just for a moment I stopped all busyness and enjoyed the day… It’s amazing what you notice when you simply stop, look and listen in a garden.  Get the ladybird perspective on life today!
