Fireworks and Christmas Lights

Pitmedden Fireworks

Yesterday saw the lighting of the Christmas lights and a fantastic display of fireworks heralding the coming of Christmas… and also timed to coincide with colder more seasonal weather.

At least in Pitmedden the snow was minimual – just enough to make the ground white – but a cold clear frosty day.
Having had visitors during the afternoon, we decided to watch the fireworks from the warmth of our home… Scamp was not impressed and was not long in disappearing to the other end of the house in search of somewhere to hide until the noise was over.  The pretty lights in the sky were certainly wasted on her.
So the festive season has definitely arrived.  A time for looking forward, and a time for looking back.  Looking forward to welcoming new and returning visitors next year… and looking back on a great first year which has well and truly surpassed our expectations, and we’ve already had returning visitors!  Thank you for your support and we will continue to listen to your feedback and continually add to your enjoyment of the Bothy.
