We’ve had all four seasons in the last 10 days: we’ve had blue sky sunny at an amazing 19 degrees; and we’ve had major rainfall and wind; and now we’re back to something more like a seasonal normal.
So walking the dogs last night up in the field I found myself watching the sun set over the village and took this picture just on my iphone.
Undoubtedly we’re on the march to dark nights and shorter daylight hours. So time to get a few logs chopped up in readiness for the winter and our winter Bothy guests. The central heating is clean and easy… but there’s nothing beats a log fire on a cold dark night.
