This picture was taken at Findon, which is a small fishing village only 8 miles from Aberdeen. Also known as “Finnan”, the village is famous for the “Finnan Haddie”.
We had a super day when we visited Findon and managed to get a short walk along one of the paths which ran through the heather. When we came into Findon, we took the first road on the left and down on the left at the end there is a walk along the cliffs. There are a number of paths through the Findon Moor and most of them run along the cliffs.
A lovely little village to stop at and certainly worth a walk along the cliffs to admire the views!
