When we visited Hazlehead Park, we came across this sculpture made completely out of reclaimed steel. About half a tonne of steel has gone into making The Re-Thinker and it is such a fascinating piece of artwork! There have been many different items which have been cleverly used to create this including a digger bucket, pipes, spoons, springs, nuts and bolts.
The inspiration for this came from Rodin’s classic sculpture The Thinker. It is the first time that it has been reproduced using waste materials.
Why not pop along to see The Re-Thinker and see how many different pieces of metal that you can spot!
