Towards the end of last week the weather forecast was for snow and it arrived! Not as much as what we had nearly 7 years ago – that will take quite a bit to top that record! On looking back at some of the pictures, we certainly had a lot of snow! This is a picture back then and I remember watching this blue tit hunting for some nuts underneath the snow.
As we head towards the festive season, I like to keep a wee eye out on what is taking place throughout Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. There is the Christmas Village which has already started and another thing to see if you can spot around the city is the 12 totem pole sculptures. They represent The Twelve Days of Christmas and are located across the city. These have been created by chainsaw wood carver Gary Shand and finding them is great fun for all the family!
Haddo House also have carol singers in the Stables Courtyard on the 17th December. Why not head along and listen while enjoying a mince pie and browsing in the shop.
Lots going on for everyone to enjoy!
