This week, we are on a coastal walk between Inverbervie and Stonehaven and this is one of the beaches along the way. The coastal walk from Inverbervie to Stonehaven is roughly about 13 miles and on Sunday, it was such a glorious day to take in such a wonderful walk. The sun was shining and it was great to get out and about and enjoy it.
This coastal walk takes in Todhead Lighthouse, Catterline, the spectacular Dunnottar Castle and Stonehaven War Memorial. We came across this beach along the way and if you look closely, you will see the ruins of a small cottage at the foot of the cliff. This is a great walk with some truly amazing views. Although there are quite a few cliff drops so care should always be taken.
As it was such a lovely day, we decided to finish off by having an ice cream treat! And Aunt Betty’s did not disappoint! It was well worth the wait!
